Established on September 6, 2008, MIMS College of Allied Health Sciences is a premier institution under the MIMS Academy Trust. Located in Vazhayoor, Puthukode P.O, Karad, in the Malappuram District of Kerala, the college spans an impressive 30,000 sq. ft., offering cutting-edge facilities to shape the future of allied health professionals.

Infrastructure

Our campus features ten fully furnished classrooms and six state-of-the-art laboratory rooms. We also offer a dedicated computer lab, separate common rooms for boys and girls, staff rooms, and seminar halls. In addition, students have access to a wide array of amenities, including indoor games, office spaces, prayer halls, and washing rooms—ensuring a comfortable and enriching learning environment.

Academic Programs

Since our inception, we have been committed to offering diverse academic programs. Our undergraduate offerings include the BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), which commenced in 2009, followed by BSc in Perfusion Technology (PFT) and BSc in Cardiovascular Technology (BCVT) in 2016. In postgraduate education, we launched MSc MLT programs in Microbiology & Pathology in 2012 and Biochemistry in 2022. Additionally, we introduced the Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) program in 2021. All programs are sanctioned by the Kerala State Government.

Our strength lies in our exceptional faculty. The college is proud of a team of highly qualified and experienced educators, many of whom are esteemed medical professionals. With teaching experiences ranging from 5 to 35 years, our faculty bring rich expertise to the classroom. Our non-medical faculty members, holding MSc and PhD degrees, contribute decades of experience, ensuring a well-rounded and expert education for our students.

Future Expansion

We are always looking ahead. MIMS College has proposed several new undergraduate programs, including BSc Neurotechnology, BSc Dialysis Technology, BSc Anesthesia Technology, BSc Respiratory Technology, BSc Emergency Medical Technology, BSc Nuclear Medicine Technology, MSc in CVT, PG Diploma in Bio Safety & Bio Medical waste Management, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), and BSc Medical Radiological Technology, BSc Medical Imaging Technology. The necessary approvals and inspections from Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) are currently in progress.
